Thank you all, members of Lincoln Book Club, for everything you did for us during our stay in Sheldon and surroundings! I'll never forget the bluebells, the discussions and the cathedrals in Norwich and by the sea. Nor the view from the kitchen window in Sheldon on the old church through the big trees. The mixture of a lot of time with informal convivialité and discussions where everybody had the opportunity to express their points of view, really pleased me. And I loved the physical activity you arranged for us - labyrinthine as well as qui gongish. What I didn't like was the loss of my jacket, but the insurance company is taking care of that now. I hope somebody in Norwich is happy to wear it!
By the way, I have just read a book about Berlusconi's Italy (Simon Ekern, a norwegian journalist), and I now understand that life can be very complicated and frustrating in real life - not only in novels.
